Do You Know the Names of These Plants?

There are some things growing in my garden that I don't know the names of.
I thought I would post photos in case any of my readers could tell me what they are called.

This was originally all variegated but since I have moved it, has reverted to mainly green.
It dies down to nothing each winter and comes up again in the Spring, eventually
it will have small yellow flowers up each stem. - any ideas?

This pink flowered plant in the foreground grows everywhere around here.
I bought it from a plant sale outside someone house last year
but didn't register what it was called?

This is the plant that I bought with me from the old cottage we used to live in.
It has small star like flowers and the berries eventually turn red. - Any ideas?

These are everywhere! They come up every year and are quite beautiful!
Such lovely colours but I have no idea what it is called. Have you?

Now this looks like some sort of nightshade?
It was here when we came and gets quite rampant,
so I dug it up and put it into a pot - its berries turn a really dark shiny red.

Thanks for any identification you could help with!
They are still beautiful without names but it
would be nice to know what they are called.

A photo I took of Ms. Mitz yesterday!

Isn't it wonderful!

Hi TK - I shall tell Ms Mitz that a lovely lady in a far off place called Malaysia thinks that she is adorable! She will be very pleased and will purr very loudly when she hears this! :-)

Susannah, I have no clue about the plant names you are asking for.
And I have never seen before a cat posing like yours. It's incredible.
And it' simply sweet!

Hi Michaela, no I haven't a clue about the plants either, I am hoping that a lady called Suz drops in as she may be able to help.

I have never seen a cat do that before either! She does it regularly and it always makes me smile. :-)

Thanks for your comment it is always good to see you. x

Hello Cuz:

I think the blue frilly flowers might be Cornflowers or other members of the Aster family.

Hi Shelagh :-)

Got the comment this time!

Yes, that's what Mum said, but I looked them up and it doesn't seem to be the case? so I am still puzzled??

By the way, I just identified the pink ones as Red Valerian.

Thanks and good to get a comment from you!

See you soon. x

I apologise, I looked into it further and I am sure you are right! (I should have known that you and Mum would know best :-)) It looks very similar to a batchelors button.

Thanks again for your help! Have a good flight over on Tuesday. :-)
